How Are You Resting & Recovering?

We often focus on doing more, getting in that extra rep, doing an extra workout, going longer and harder.

And we sometimes forget that growth happens not while we push harder but when we rest and recovery. This is true for exercise as well as in life.

Here is what I am doing to rest and recover:

Tranquil Lake

✨ Slow walks in nature.

✨ A Yin yoga class on Sunday evening.

✨ Lots of reading. 

✨ Giving myself permission to do nothing.
