Plan Your Workout For The Week

Spending a little bit of time to plan your weekly workouts can make a real difference.

When planning your week, take any changes in your schedule into account.

Do you have a late afternoon meeting that prevents you from going to the gym?

Can you do a workout at home early in the morning instead? Or maybe you can combine an upper and a lower weight lifting day?

During very busy weeks, I do most of my workouts at home. Investing in heavy dumbbells, bands, balls, jump robes, a box and more has really paid off. It’s much easier to get up 30 minutes earlier and work out at home before taking a shower than trying to fit in a gym workout later on a very full day.

Having go-to exercise, yoga and Pilates routines saved in playlists or apps makes working out easy and efficient.

And don’t forget to get up every 30 to 60 minutes and get a minute of two of movement.
