Creating An Individualized Movement Plan

We all have different preferences, schedules, and energy patterns.

Therefore, what feels energizing to one person may feel draining to another. What motivates your friend to get moving may not work for you at all. What your body needs today may be different from what it needs tomorrow.

For example, someone who needs social connection might love group exercise classes, while someone who prefers quiet might feel energized by solo morning walks. Both are valid. Both “count.” Both support health.

In the end, we only stick with movement we enjoy, and it’s important we all find what works for us. This also means we have to be okay with doing different things than what we see on social media or what our friends do.
