Why I Love My Flexible Workout Plan
Every Sunday, I plan my workouts for the week. Most weeks my plan doesn’t change much, but I do take any activities, illness, injury and energy levels into account.

I also view my plan as a checklist of items to be completed by the end of the week. If something doesn’t get done one day, I move it to another day. I also combine workouts or split them up.
This kind of flexibility has allowed me to stay consistent.
A few weeks ago, I decided to change my routine to two full body strength workouts to make room for other activities that I enjoy in the summer months.
However, then I got sick for over ten days, and I didn’t lift any weights. I will therefore spend a little more time lifting weights this week.
I may even break up the full body weights workout on Friday into an upper body and a lower body session.
